Volume-1 Project Profiles for Mizoram on Micro and Small Enterprises

Since its inception in the year 1995, North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Limited (NEDFi) has been committed towards creating an enabling environment for entrepreneurship and development of business enterprises in the region by providing handholding support services including the much-needed financial assistance to micro and small enterprises at concessional rate of interest. NEDFi, in its continual effort to foster entrepreneurial culture among the local youths of the region, has compiled this compendium of Project Profiles.

Volume-1 of the Project Profiles on Micro and Small Enterprises covers a brief introduction of the state, write-up on advantages of the state, potential investment sectors in the state and resource-based project profiles viable for the state. Each project profile provides an overview of the business opportunity, market potentiality, technical know-how, financial aspects and addresses of machinery suppliers with updated information. It is envisioned that this compendium will help first generation as well as existing entrepreneurs of the north eastern states to make informed business decisions and would also motivate the local youths to take up entrepreneurship as a career option.
